Storyline
Mia works at the store world famous for their quality custom Santa hats. She's been there 10 years and feels like she's earned a promotion, but Mia soon learns the store's owner hopes that his son, Nick, will give up his fast-paced New York life and take over the family business. Mia stubbornly refuses to get swept up by Nick's charisma and charm, but when he hits it off with her handicapped son, Scotty, Mia can't help herself from falling for him. However, the drop-dead gorgeous bank auditor, Valerie, makes no secret of her intentions to land Nick for herself. Then when Mia hears that Nick's plan to balance the company's books includes eliminating employee health care benefits, Mia is pushed past her breaking point and she tenders her resignation. In a last ditch bid to win Mia over, Nick agrees to move back home and take over the company, much to everyone's surprise, and his first act as new owner is to give all the employees shares in the company. Anxious to celebrate with everyone else, Scotty finds the inspiration in the joyous occasion to walk again, and Mia's every Christmas wish has been fulfilled.
